• Two lost daughters of Alderaan. I like the idea of Cara being protective of what little remains of Alderaan after the Disaster, including the famous last surviving member of the royal family. Let’s just say I believe she’s started bar fights defending Princess Leia’s honor from overly talkative Imperial sympathizers more than once.
• Cara probably joined the Rebellion right after Alderaan’s destruction. What does she think of Princess Leia being a famous rebel in her own right?
• What would a meeting between the two be like? How does Leia feel meeting other Alderaanian diaspora after the Disaster? How does Leia balance the responsibility she feels to her people with fighting the Empire? How do Leia and Cara mourn Alderaan and the people they lost?
• Alderaanian culture and worldbuilding more than welcome!

Leia Organa & Padmé Amidala

• Leia and her birth mother are similar in many ways- both politicians dedicated to democracy and justice and willing to turn to "aggressive negotiations" in order to achieve it. How would they get along, if they got the chance to know each other?
• AU- Padmé lives and gets to raise her daughter.
• Force ghost!Padmé talks to Leia. During Leia's childhood, during or after the Rebellion, whenever.
• Padmé is somehow revived/time travels, joins the Rebellion, and meets Leia and begins working with her- but Padmé doesn’t know that she’s her daughter. Does she ever find out?
• Leia is sent back to the prequels era. She recruits Padmé to try to stop the fall of the Republic.
• Space politics with two Amidala-Skywalkers. The galaxy doesn't know what hit them.

Leia Organa & Shmi Skywalker

• Let Leia meet her biological grandmother! Let Shmi meet her granddaughter! I was always sad that Shmi died before she could meet her grandchildren. She would have loved them. I would especially like it if Shmi refuses to excuse the trauma her son has inflicted on her granddaughter.
• Shmi doesn't die during the prequels, lives her life on Tatooine (maybe raises Luke with Owen and Beru?) and eventually gets to meet her granddaughter.
• I love the idea of Force-sensitive Shmi. Let Force ghost!Shmi talk to her granddaughter. During Leia's childhood, during or after the Rebellion, whenever.
• Post twin-reveal, Leia goes to Tatooine (with Luke?) and learns about Shmi's life, and visits her grave.
• Leia is sent back to the prequels era, meets Shmi and helps free her. They try to help prevent the creation of the Empire together.
• Shmi is sent to the original trilogy era and meets Leia. Thinking that her son was killed along with the Jedi during Order 66, she decides to join the Rebellion.

Anakin Skywalker & Grogu | Baby Yoda & Obi-Wan Kenobi

• I loved the revelation in the recent season of The Mandalorian that Grogu grew up in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and that the prequels-era Jedi would have been familiar with him.
• The idea of Padawan Anakin and Grogu having a childhood rivalry because they’re technically the same age (with a very disapproving Obi-Wan) is hilarious to me. It being a one-sided rivalry because Grogu is a literal infant is even funnier.
• Obi-Wan and Anakin are assigned to Jedi Kindergarten-watching duty and have to deal with an unintentionally troublemaking young Grogu, who is surprisingly good at sneaking away.
• Grogu gets lost/kidnapped and Obi-Wan and Anakin are sent to find him.
• Obi-Wan is the one to save Grogu from the Jedi Temple during Order 66. Did Anakin/Vader decide to spare Grogu or did he just miss him?

Ben Solo | Kylo Ren & Grogu | Baby Yoda

• Poor Grogu, Skywalkers destroy the Jedi Temple he was learning at TWICE. Although he will presumably leave Luke's Jedi Academy before things go bad, Grogu has terrible Jedi training luck.
• What was the relationship like between Ben and Grogu at Luke’s Jedi Academy before things go bad. Does Ben have to babysit Grogu? Are they friends? Rivals?
• Grogu decides to invite his new friend Ben on a trip with his dad. Ben is surprised that his dad is a human Mandalorian.
• Young Ben and Grogu decide to run away together. Luke, Leia, Han and Din all go after them. Where does it lead?
• Grogu is able to help keep Ben away from Snoke and the Dark Side.
• Alternatively: Kylo Ren and the tiniest Knight of Ren.

Star Wars Prequel Trilogy

Note on the Dooku prompts- my favorite fanon first name for Dooku is Yan, but mononymous Dooku works for me as well. Also, the timeline for when Dooku left the Order is a bit unclear. I believe in the current canon he left some years before Obi-Wan’s apprenticeship, which is what I use in my prompts, but feel free to change that to your preference or what works best for your story.

Obi-Wan Kenobi & Qui-Gon Jinn

• I love rule-breaking, prophecy-loving well-meaning space hippie Jedi dad Qui-Gon Jinn. We don't see that much of their relationship in the films, but they were together for 12 years before TPM and Qui-Gon's loss clearly affected Obi-Wan strongly. What did they do together during those twelve years?
• Mission fic with younger Padawan Obi-Wan. Maybe they have to go undercover?
• Qui-Gon lives AU! Qui-Gon lives to see Obi-Wan knighted and gets to cut his Padawan braid. Knight Kenobi getting to go on missions with his former Master.
• What is their first conversation like after Obi-Wan manges to start communicating with Qui-Gon’s Force ghost? What do they talk about during the 19 years Obi-Wan spends on Tatooine.

Anakin Skywalker & Obi-Wan Kenobi

• Anakin and Obi-Wan’s friendship is so wonderful and so tragic. Their relationship is really the heart of the prequels films for me. I would love a happier ending for these two, but I respect the tragedy of what happened to them in canon as well. I would love to see them together in any era- for example, Padawan Ani, pre-AOTC teenage Anakin, Clone Wars era, during or post a ROTS fix-it.
• Padawan Anakin and recently-Knighted Obi-Wan! The early moments, Obi-Wan showing Anakin around the Temple, going on a mission, getting to know each other better.
• Obi-Wan and Anakin are marooned on an unpopulated planet and must work together to survive until rescue comes.
• One of them gets temporary amnesia and must reassure the other.
• Clone Wars era- Anakin and Obi-Wan are sent on a mission that goes very bad. Hurt/comfort.
• ROTS fix-it: What if another Jedi had been sent after Grievous and Anakin confided in Obi-Wan about his visions? I'm ok with Anakin eventually leaving the Order or choosing to stay as long as he and Obi-Wan remain close.

Dooku & Qui-Gon Jinn

• Dooku and Qui-Gon have such seemingly different personalities and views on the Force. What were they like as Master and Padawan? What was Dooku like as a Jedi Master? What was young Qui-Gon like? Did Dooku and Qui-Gon get along during his apprenticeship? Why did Dooku pick Qui-Gon to be his apprentice (or was there some Yoda meddling involved)? If you’ve read Dooku: Jedi Lost or Master and Apprentice, feel free to incorporate any elements from them, including Rael Averross.
• Jedi Dooku and Qui-Gon on a mission! During Qui-Gon's apprenticeship, after Qui-Gon was Knighted, whenever.
• What did Qui-Gon think of Dooku leaving the Order? Did they have any contact after he became Count of Serenno? Why had Qui-Gon never introduced Obi-Wan to Dooku?
• Some time after Dooku leaves the Order, Qui-Gon and Padawan Obi-Wan are sent to Serenno for a mission and are invited to dine with the Count.
• Qui-Gon lives AU: Would Dooku have still turned to the Dark Side? What does Qui-Gon think of his former Master’s political project, with the Separatist movement?
• If Qui-Gon were still alive and was the one to confront Dooku on Geonosis during AOTC, how would he have reacted to Dooku’s assertion that there was a Sith Lord in charge of the Senate? Could Dooku have recruited Qui-Gon? If not, what would it have been like for them to fight each other during the Clone Wars?

Dooku & Obi-Wan Kenobi

• I always thought Dooku and Obi-Wan’s relationship was interesting. I especially love in the ROTS novelization where Dooku pushes hard for Obi-Wan rather than Anakin to be recruited to the Dark Side.
• What would Obi-Wan have thought of Dooku if he had met him while he was Qui-Gon's padawan? In fact, what did Qui-Gon tell him about his Master during Obi-Wan's apprenticeship? What did Obi-Wan think of his mysterious grandmaster who left the Order to become a politician before he found out that he was a Sith Lord?
• Some time after Dooku leaves the Order, Qui-Gon and Padawan Obi-Wan are sent to Serenno for a mission and are invited to dine with the Count.
• What does Dooku think of his grandpadawan? Is there any guilt or reluctance when fighting him?
• What if Obi-Wan had agreed to work with Dooku on Geonosis? Could Obi-Wan have ever become Dooku’s Sith apprentice?
• AU where Dooku stayed with the Order and Obi-Wan was his Jedi apprentice.
• Dooku realizes Obi-Wan’s ploy during the Rako Hardeen arc and captures him.

Obi-Wan Kenobi & Padmé Amidala

• I love Obi-Wan and Padmé's friendship and I wish we'd gotten to see more of them working together during TCW and the Prequels in general.
• Queen Amidala tries to help Obi-Wan with his grief over Qui-Gon as he and Anakin wait on Naboo for the Jedi Council to arrive during TPM.
• Obi-Wan and Padmé meet pre-AOTC, with Obi-Wan as a young Knight (who left Padawan Ani at the Temple) and Padmé as a young Senator.
• Obi-Wan and Padmé on a mission together during the Clone Wars!
• Space politics.
• So it’s established in ROTS that Padmé and Obi-Wan would meet privately to discuss their mutual loved one/problem (one Anakin Skywalker). How did these meetings start?
• Post-ROTS AU: Padmé lives, and she takes Obi-Wan with her as she tries to raise her children in a dangerous galaxy, on the run from her ex-husband, Obi-Wan’s former best friend and Padawan. Dealing with their mutual grief and blame together.

Anakin Skywalker/Padmé Amidala & Obi-Wan Kenobi

• The prequels trio! I love them so much.
• So I’ve always thought that Padmé and Anakin’s relationship was essentially an open secret among the Order and the GAR, with Obi-Wan just trying to maintain plausible deniability. What no one, including Obi-Wan, knew was that they were married.
• What if someone else had been assigned to track down Jango, so Obi-Wan and Anakin continued their mission to protect Padme together? Obi-Wan as the (uncomfortable) third wheel in the Lake Country. Anakin’s worst nightmare: trying to woo his crush while his Master is there.
• During the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan gets stuck on an extended mission with Anakin and Padmé, who are definitely not as good at hiding their relationship as they think they are.
• Obi-Wan and Anakin are sent to help Padmé in the Senate after assassin(s) threaten her life.
• ROTS Fix-it: Anakin confides in Obi-Wan about his visions of Padmé’s death (like Padmé had suggested in ROTS!) and he helps them.
• Really any kind of ROTS fix-it would be great.

Dooku/Jocasta Nu or Dooku & Jocasta Nu

• I love the headcanon that Dooku and Jocasta Nu used to know each other back when Dooku was a Jedi. Feel free to write their relationship as platonic or romantic, I don’t have a preference.
• Dooku and Jocasta go on a mission together as young Jedi at an abandoned Sith Temple.
• Jocasta hears about an old Jedi text discovered on Serenno, and goes to examine it as part of her duties as Chief Jedi Librarian. While there, she is invited to the home of her former friend and/or lover, Count Dooku of Serenno.
• Jocasta and Dooku meet outside the battlefield during the Clone Wars. What does Jocasta think of Dooku's turn to the Dark Side?

Obi-Wan Kenobi & Shmi Skywalker

• Please feel free to include Force-sensitive Shmi in any of these prompts.
• I always thought it was sad that Shmi never got the opportunity to meet the man who would basically raise her son from age 9 onwards.
• What if Qui-Gon had taken Obi-Wan with him when they went looking for ship parts on Tatooine? What if Qui-Gon had decided to stay on the ship to protect the Queen and sent Obi-Wan out to look for parts? What if he or Qui-Gon had been able to free Shmi as well and she went with them to Coruscant?
• Post TPM AU: Shmi frees herself and makes her way to Coruscant to check on her son. It's discovered that Shmi is Force-sensitive, and she decides to join the Order. What is her relationship with her son and her son's Jedi Master like?
• Pre-AOTC AU: Anakin is so scared by his nightmares that he decides to look for his mother, with or without Obi-Wan’s approval. Obi-Wan goes after him, and they are able to rescue Shmi from the Sand People in time.
• Force ghost!Shmi. What if Shmi had witnessed the Sand people massacre, seen the dark path her son was going down- but unable to contact Anakin, she tries her son’s Jedi Master?
• Post ROTS Obi-Wan going to Shmi’s grave on Tatooine and apologizing for what happened to her son. (Feel free to bring in Force ghost!Shmi here too!)
• An AU where Shmi is taken in by the Jedi and eventually becomes a Jedi Master. She becomes fond of a young Padawan Kenobi, perhaps even taking him as her Padawan. Bonus points for Obi-Wan supporting his Master through her miraculous Force pregnancy and being a good older brother to Anakin.

Ahsoka Tano & Anakin Skywalker

• Ahsoka’s faith in Anakin and how badly he ends up betraying that faith is really the heart of the tragedy of TCW for me. The fact that she is in denial about what he has become until their confrontation in Rebels is heartbreaking. I would love a happier ending for these two, but I respect the tragedy of what happened to them in canon as well.
• Anakin and Ahsoka keep in contact after Ahsoka leaves the Order. The idea of a increasingly concerned Anakin getting increasingly frantic updates from Ahsoka on her adventure with the Martez sisters is hilarious.
• Those early days together, getting to know each other. Anakin finding out about Ahsoka's early life on Shili and in the Temple, Ahsoka learning about Anakin, who is not the traditional Jedi Master she always expected to have. ("You were how old when you won the Boonta Eve Podrace, Master?")
• Anakin decides to go with Ahsoka and the 501st during the Siege of Mandalore.

Ahsoka Tano & Obi-Wan Kenobi

• I was always sad we never got an Obi-Wan and Ahsoka focused episode during TCW. What would such an episode have been like?
• Grandmaster-grandpadawan bonding. I especially love the idea of Obi-Wan trying to be a good grandmaster, considering his relationship with Dooku in canon is not great, to say the least.
• Obi-Wan and Ahsoka keep in contact after she leaves the order. The idea of a increasingly concerned Obi-Wan getting increasingly frantic updates from Ahsoka on her adventure with the Martez sisters is hilarious.
• An AU where Ahsoka had really been sent to Christophsis to become Obi-Wan's Padawan. How would they have been as a Master-Padawan pair?
• Obi-Wan decides to go with Ahsoka during the Siege of Mandalore.
• After Order 66 and the fall of the Republic, Ahsoka (and Rex?) finds Obi-Wan on Tatooine.

Ahsoka Tano & CT-7567 | Rex

• Ahsoka and Rex go on a mission together, maybe an undercover mission? Anything is better than Zygerria, right?
• After Rex has a strange reaction on a mission, Ahsoka finds out what life on Kamino was really like for the clones.
• After the finale, Rex and Ahsoka can only rely on each other in a galaxy that has gotten very dark. Go as angsty as you’d like. Or: post-finale Rex and Ahsoka try to rescue a few more of Rex’s brothers from the Empire and remove their chips.

Aayla Secura/CC-5052 | Bly

• I’ve always thought that Blyla was such a cute ship.
• Bly and General Secura have a great working relationship, one of the best in the GAR, but then Bly realizes that he has feelings for his Jedi General. He resolves to hide them until he finds out that she feels the same way. Bonus points for gentle teasing from Bly's brothers and/or Aayla's Master Quinlan Vos or other Jedi friends over how obviously in love they are.
• Bly and Aayla going on an undercover mission together!
• Order 66 AU - Bly is able to overcome the control chip and/or Aayla helps him remove it, and they go on the run together. Bonus points if they try to rescue the rest of the 327th.
• Bly mourns Aayla in secret after Order 66.

Barriss Offee & Luminara Unduli

• Luminara meeting youngling Barriss for the first time. Luminara choosing Barriss as her padawan.
• Scenes from Barriss’ early apprenticeship- feel free to include Mirialan culture/world-building. When and how did Barriss decide to get her facial tattoos? What are their meaning in Mirialan culture? Have she and Luminara ever visited Mirial?
• Barriss and Luminara go undercover on a mission together. Both Barriss and Luminara learn new things about each other.
• Post Temple Bombing- Luminara wonders where she went wrong and visits Barriss in prison. Feel free to go as angsty as you would like.
• Post Order 66- After Luminara’s capture, she finds herself at the same Imperial Prison as Barriss. Is Barriss a fellow prisoner or a new Inquisitor?

Obi-Wan Kenobi/Satine Kryze

• I love Obi-Wan and his angry pacifist Mandalorian Duchess girlfriend. ("She's not my girlfriend, Anakin!")
• Please make Satine and Obi-Wan 16 or older if you write them during their year on the run on Mandalore. (I headcanon them as both being twenty.)
• Scenes from the year on the run! What was their last night together like after the war was over? When did Obi-Wan realize that he would leave the Order for her if she asked? Was it during the year on the run, or did the realization come later? Qui-Gon’s exasperation at being stuck with two hormonal young people indefinitely would be appreciated.
• When did Satine realize that she was in love with Obi-Wan? Why didn't she ask Obi-Wan to stay?
• Year on Mandalore- Qui-Gon gets captured, and Obi-Wan and Satine must go undercover (in full beskar!) among the enemy to rescue him.
• Had their paths crossed any in the years before the Clone Wars after the year on Mandalore? Did Satine contact Obi-Wan after she heard about Qui-Gon’s death?
• Years after the war on Mandalore ends, Obi-Wan and Satine unexpectedly meet again at a formal diplomatic event. Bonus points if the diplomatic event requires fancy, formal attire.
• Satine Lives AU- and is on Coruscant when ROTS goes down. What happens?

Asajj Ventress & Ky Narec

• Ky lives AU where he and Asajj find their way back to the Jedi Temple. Asajj realizes that her Jedi training so far has not exactly been normal. Who would her friends in the Temple be? Maybe she eventually grows up to fight in the Clone Wars as a Jedi General alongside her Master?
• Force ghost Ky haunts Asajj over the years, even after she becomes Dooku’s apprentice. If you’ve read Dooku: Jedi Lost, I loved them in that, or Ky can be a real Force ghost.
• 5 times Asajj followed her Master’s training (and one time she didn’t). Alternatively: 5 times Asajj didn't follow her Master's training (and one time she did).

Star Wars Original Trilogy

• Complicated feelings about Obi-Wan that Vader pretends aren’t complicated.
• Obi-Wan and company escape Vader on the Death Star. Vader’s hunt for his old Master is reignited.
• AU- Vader joins the rebellion because of Luke and/or Leia. Even after all that he has done, the Rebel Alliance can't say no to a defector as powerful and well-informed as Darth Vader himself. Obi-Wan tries to deal with that.
• Force ghost Obi-Wan haunting Vader.
• ROTJ- Redeemed!Anakin reunites with Obi-Wan as Force ghosts.

Darth Vader & Leia Organa

• For these ones: please allow Leia to be angry! I’m okay if by the end Leia makes her peace with Anakin/Vader, but I would like it if Leia’s anger at Vader and what he has done- to the galaxy, to her friends and family, and specifically to Leia, be treated as valid.
• ANH AU - Vader somehow realizes Leia is his daughter- perhaps in time to save Alderaan? Leia is understandably skeptical, and won’t go along with Vader so easily.
• Vader being reminded of Padmé so much by Leia.
• AU- Vader joins the rebellion because of Luke. Even after all that he has done, the Rebel Alliance can't say no to a defector as powerful and well-informed as Darth Vader himself. Leia tries to deal with that.
• Vader survives ROTJ AU- Leia is left dealing with complicated feelings about the man she has learned is her biological father, now a prisoner of the Rebel Alliance.
• Post ROTJ- Force ghost!Anakin tries to apologize to Leia after his death.

Darth Vader & Luke Skywalker

• AU- Vader captures Luke during ESB.
• Post ESB - Luke encounters the man he now knows to be his father on a hostile planet, and they must work together to survive. AU- Vader joins the rebellion because of Luke. Even after all that he has done, the Rebel Alliance can't say no to a defector as powerful and well-informed as Darth Vader himself.
• Vader lives AU - Luke manages to save his father’s life, but he is now a prisoner of the Rebel alliance.
• Post ROTJ- Force ghost!Anakin talks to his son. He tells him about his life, helps Luke set up a new Jedi academy.

Luke Skywalker & Obi-Wan Kenobi

• Luke Kenobi AU: Obi-Wan takes Luke to Tatooine, but is unable to give him up to the Larses. Instead, he raises Luke. Feel free to lean heavily on the guilt and angst, how much Luke reminds Obi-Wan of Anakin.

• I always thought it was a shame Leia and Obi-Wan never got to meet. What would Obi-Wan think of Leia? She probably reminds him of both her parents in so many ways. And what would Leia think of the famous General Kenobi, and how different he seems from the stories her father told her?
• Leia is sent to Tatooine earlier in the timeline to be trained as a Jedi.
• Obi-Wan lives and trains Leia as a Jedi as well as Luke.
• Force ghost Obi-Wan communicates with Leia.

Alexsandr Kallus & the Ghost Crew

• Kallus in the immediate days and weeks after his defection. The Ghost crew slowly coming to trust Kallus. Especially Zeb- they seem friendly in S4 and close in the finale- how did that develop over time? I’m ok with Kalluzeb if you would like to include that.
• So I was disappointed that we didn’t get an episode in S4 of Rebels focused on Kallus- after all, it would be interesting to see how a former Imperial operates within the Rebel Alliance, and how his relationship with the crew has grown and developed. And there was his history with Saw Gerrea’s partisans, which wasn’t really brought up even though Saw was in S4.
• Undercover mission!

Ahsoka Tano & Obi-Wan Kenobi

• See also my "Ahsoka Tano & Obi-Wan Kenobi" prompts in the Clone Wars section.
• Ahsoka discovers that at least one person she thought she lost actually survived. They reunite on Tatooine.
• Post-Malachor Ahsoka, not sure if Obi-Wan knows what happened to Anakin and what he became. But how could he not?
• Ahsoka finds herself on Tatooine right before the events of ANH take place.

Ahsoka Tano & Darth Vader

“I won't leave you. Not this time.”

• They make me sad, basically.
• After assuming Ahsoka died at the end of the Clone Wars, how did Vader feel when he first felt her presence and realized that she survived?
• Malachor AU - Vader captures Ahsoka, or Ahsoka captures Vader. They can’t bring themselves to kill the other, but they can’t let them go either.
• Ahsoka and Vader find themselves trapped together on Malachor, and have to work together to survive.
• Ahsoka somehow manages to bring Vader back to the Light- or at the very least get him away from serving Palpatine. Much to the bafflement of everyone Ahsoka knows. ("Ahsoka, is that... Darth Vader?")
• Vader survives ROTJ, and Ahsoka meets him as a prisoner of the Rebel Alliance.

Depa Billaba & Kanan Jarrus

• Force ghost Depa tells Kanan how proud she is of the Jedi he has become.
• Depa comes back! She somehow survived Order 66 and was in hiding, she was captured, got frozen in Carbonite, whatever. The Ghost Crew finds/frees her and Depa must get used to the galaxy as it has become, and the man her Padawan Caleb Dume has become. What does she think of Kanan’s training methods? What does she think of Ezra? What does she think of Kanan’s relationship with Hera?
• Really just Depa being proud of her Padawan, proud of the man he has become, and Kanan grateful to have another chance to be with his Master.

The Godfather

Fandom specific DNWs: Please do not include any material that originated in the Mark Winegardner novels, including how Tom dies and the character of Nick Geraci. The original Mario Puzo novels and the Ed Falco novel are fine if you would like to include details from them. If you haven’t read the books then don’t worry about it.

Sonny Corleone & Tom Hagen

• I love that Sonny just found an orphan boy living on the streets and decided to take him home and ask his dad if he could keep him. And Tom responded, okay, I am going to be loyal to you for the rest of my life.
• Young Sonny teaching Tom Sicilian.
• Sonny comforts Tom after his kidnapping by Sollozzo in Part I.
• Sonny lives AU. What happens to the family?
• Tom mourning Sonny after his death.

Michael Corleone & Tom Hagen

• Tom and Michael always seemed to understand each other better than the other brothers because of their similar personalities. I imagine that was true even when they were younger,
• Young Tom and Michael. What does Michael think of Tom after Sonny brings him home?
• Part II - Tom’s reaction after the attempted assassination on Michael.
• How does Michael tell Tom about Fredo’s betrayal?
• Why does Tom choose to stay with the Family despite Michael’s increasing paranoia and poor treatment of him towards the end of Part II.

Tom Hagen & Vito Corleone

“Your boss is dead,” Sollozzo said. He paused, surprised at the tears that sprang to Hagen’s eyes. - The Godfather novel.

• So after Sonny brought Tom home, why did Vito agree to take him in?
• Tom’s perspective on Vito. It’s clear that he respects and loves him and thinks of him as a father.
• As the Corleones’ lawyer and later consigliere, what kind of things did Vito ask Tom to do? What was a typical day like?
• Post-Sonny’s death. Mourning.

Corleone Siblings (Connie Corleone & Fredo Corleone & Michael Corleone & Sonny Corleone & Tom Hagen)

• Any look at their childhood. When did each of them realize what business their father was really in? How did the household react when they took Tom in?
• Do they ever learn about why their father came to America, his history with the murder of his family by the Mafia in Sicily?
• The siblings team up to murder Connie’s abusive husband, then cover up the murder.
• Sonny avoids his death on the tollway. How do their lives change?
• Outsider POV on the siblings. Maybe from one of the Corleone button men, maybe from a civilian.

Kay Adams/Michael Corleone

• Kay and Michael are the first loves of each others’ lives, right? Michael took her to his sister’s wedding, and brought her into the family picture. Before his father was shot, he had decided that she was the one. And even after he got back from Sicily, he went back to Kay because he thought that having her could help him have the normal, "respectable" American life he wanted so badly. Even in Part III, after all that he’s done to her, that she’s done to him, he still wants her.
• And for Kay, Michael, this war hero she met in college, is the love of her life. Even in Part III, when she admits that she dreads him, there’s still a part of her that wants to humor him, hear him out, because there’s a part of her that still loves him.
• A happy moment: Kay and Michael’s wedding day, or the births of their children.
• Give them a happier ending- perhaps Michael really manages to get away from the Mafia at some point and they get to live a normal life together. Or maybe Mary lives and they get back together.
• Or stay with the tragic ending that we got. Perhaps Kay or Michael during or after Part III, reflecting on the past and their regrets.

Apollonia Vitelli/Michael Corleone

• Apollonia’s death was a tragedy that I think motivated a lot of Michael's later ruthlessness.
• Michael’s courtship of Apollonia from her perspective. What does she think of this American mafioso hiding from the police in Sicily who fell in love with her? How does the proposal happen? When does she decide that she wants to marry him?
• Apollonia lives AU. What does Apollonia think of America and her new in-laws? How does her and Michael’s relationship change over the years?

Connie Corleone/Kay Adams

• Connie, trapped in an abusive marriage, finds comfort in Michael’s new wife. Bonus points if they “get rid of” Carlo together.
• I love the rebellious 1950s!Connie, who will do anything to hurt Michael, to show that she still has the power to hurt him. Combine that with Kay, who is gradually realizing that her marriage needs to end. Or Connie, after Kay and Michael’s divorce, after she has made her peace with Michael, still letting Kay have her secret visits with her kids.
• I also love consigliere!Connie from Part III, who has made her peace with Michael and wants to protect her family. And Kay, who is trying not to get drawn back into a world she chose to leave, but finds herself tempted anyways.

Apollonia Vitelli/Connie Corleone

• I think Connie and Apollonia are actually quite similar in a lot of ways. They are both the spoiled young daughter of conservative Sicilian families who have very little agency in their own lives. Connie gets to change that, but with her murder Apollonia never gets the chance to.
• Connie goes to Sicily before she marries Carlo and meets Apollonia.
• Apollonia lives AU - Connie, trapped in an abusive marriage, finds comfort in Michael’s new wife. Bonus points if they “get rid of” Carlo together.
• Part III AU - Both Apollonia and Connie act as Michael’s unofficial consigliere.
