I would love to see Dooku being a less evil space grandpa, perhaps even a good space grandpa. In all seriousness, I think Dooku is such an interesting example of good intentions being warped by the Dark Side. I would love to see an exploration of his relationships with the Jedi he was close to, either by friendship or by lineage. An AU where he never left the Order (and things change for the better) would be super interesting, as would an AU where Dooku is enough of a Jedi to become a Force ghost after his death in ROTS and is able to take his revenge on Palpatine for betraying him by helping the Jedi.
As for Qui-Gon: I would love to see an AU where he lives. Maybe to train Anakin or be a mentor to Obi-Wan as he trains Anakin. I would love to see these three become a family together and hopefully prevent a darker future! As for dark possibilities, maybe Qui-Gon lives but he is corrupted by his old Master and eventually becomes Dooku’s Sith Apprentice, and Obi-Wan (and Anakin) have to deal with that.

Maybe this inspires them to do something different upon returning to their original timeline? I would love to see Sith!Dooku visiting a timeline where he decided to stay with the Jedi and be surprised by what he finds, and perhaps unexpectedly confronted by his regrets.
All: Dimension travel to mirror universe - An AU where the Jedi characters are Sith and the Sith characters are Jedi? An AU where a thriving Sith Order are the enforcers of the Republic/Empire? An AU where just your chosen characters are all Sith? All while the characters from the original timeline react with shock and horror?
SW: Jedi Order/Republic fell 10-20 years before TPM - This is such an interesting AU! How would Obi-Wan and/or Anakin’s training change if they had to be trained as Jedi in hiding or on the run? How would Dooku react if the Republic fell while he was still a Jedi (or at least before he became a Sith)? Maybe he would claim his ancestral title on Serenno to try to provide a place of refuge for the surviving Jedi?

Shmi!!! I would love to see an AU where Shmi is a major character, is Force-Sensitive (and maybe even gets to kill Palpatine). Here are some additional prompt details:
SW: Jedi Shmi Skywalker, SW: Force-Sensitive Shmi Skywalker - I would love to see an AU where Shmi is rescued from slavery at a young age by the Jedi and becomes a Jedi herself. Perhaps she eventually takes Obi-Wan as her padawan and he is supportive of her throughout her miraculous Force pregnancy? Or maybe an AU where she is freed from slavery and comes with Qui-Gon and co. to Coruscant and gets an exception to train as a Jedi despite her age. Or she doesn't become a Jedi but gets a job at the Temple. And she is able to stay in contact with and support her son through his training (and perhaps befriend her son’s teacher, who is in need of a supportive figure in his life after Qui-Gon’s death)?
SW: Shmi Skywalker Lives - I would love to see an AU where Shmi survives, there is no Tusken massacre, and she stays a part of her son’s life, perhaps even preventing him from going down a dark path. Or if Anakin becomes Vader anyways, maybe an AU where Obi-Wan brings Luke (and Leia?) to her after ROTS.

I love these three so much. I would love a happier ending for these characters, either a canon divergence where Anakin never falls, or an AU Anakin gets his shit together a lot earlier, leaves and/or murders Palpatine, and comes back to his family. If you just want to go with Padmé and Obi-Wan, I would love for them to go on an adventure together, maybe dimensional travel or maybe a Padmé!lives AU where she and Obi-Wan raise the twins and/or are key members of the Rebellion.

I love these characters, and there are so many interesting possibilities for AUs with them! I am always in the mood for a time travel fix-it by future character(s) with useful knowledge. Really any of these characters would be good for that AU. Here are some additional prompt details:
SW: Female!Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader - How would Vader being a woman affect her relationship with Luke and/or Leia? Does Leia feel a kinship with Lady Vader, despite her loyalties? In fact, how would it affect how she is generally perceived, by the Imperial Navy and by the galaxy at large? With her vocoder and heavy armor, is her gender widely known? Was Padmé male in this universe or were the Skywalker twins conceived by the will of the Force just like Anakin was herself?
SW: Darth Vader Is Redeemed Earlier, SW: Darth Vader Survives ROTJ - How do Luke and/or Leia (and/or Obi-Wan, if this is an Obi-Wan lives AU) deal with an Anakin/Vader who is remorseful and wants to do good but is also guilty of many terrible crimes? Leia and Obi-Wan especially have been hurt by Vader in deeply personal and unforgivable ways. Perhaps they support him through his trial without excusing his crimes. Or perhaps he is too useful an asset to the Rebellion to be imprisoned?
SW: Obi-Wan Kenobi Lives - I would love to see an AU where Obi-Wan survives the Death Star and is able to train one or both of the twins. Perhaps he can tell them about Padmé, and maybe even be able to bring himself to tell them the truth about their father before they learn it the hard way. And of course Vader wouldn’t be happy finding out that his old Master escaped his clutches once again. Yet there is also a possibility for reconciliation in life there as well, now that Obi-Wan lives.
SW: Obi-Wan Kenobi Raises Luke and/or Leia - Luke and Leia Kenobi! I would love to see an AU where the Larses and/or the Organas aren’t able to raise the twins (due to death, imprisonment, incapacitation, etc.) and Obi-Wan has to care for them instead. Or maybe in his grief Obi-Wan can’t bear to give one or both of them up, despite all of the painful reminders of raising Anakin they provide? Would Obi-Wan be able to tell Luke and/or Leia the truth about their father earlier on in this AU? (This AU could totally be combined with a Vader is redeemed earlier!AU for some awkward co-parenting shenanigans.)

SW: Jedi Order/Republic fell 10-20 years before TPM - I continue to be completely fascinated by the possibilities of this AU. So in this AU, the fall of the Republic easily could have taken place before Nim’s death, right? I would love to see Obi-Wan and Nim on the run together after escaping the chaos, with or without their Masters. Maybe going to Serenno to see their former grandmaster Dooku for assistance? Or maybe this is after Nim’s death and Rael (and maybe Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon) go to Dooku.
SW: All Jedi Become Force Ghosts After Their Death - This has so many fluff and angsty possibilities. What if Force ghost!Nim is too frightened/unforgiving after her death and doesn’t want to see Rael anymore? What if Rael can’t forgive himself and thus is unable to see her until he does? I would also love to see members of Obi-Wan’s lineage helping him from beyond the grave at any point in canon- Nim, Rael, Qui-Gon (even Dooku).

I love these movies and these characters. I respect the tragedies of canon, but I would also love to see an AU where some character(s) who died lived- Apollonia, Sonny, Fredo etc. How would Sonny living change the destinies of his siblings? How would Apollonia living and coming to America change her and Michael’s lives?
For the time travel tropes: I would love to see any of the siblings, particularly Michael or Connie, now equipped with future knowledge, somehow travel back in time to save their family from its sad fate. Maybe Connie saves Sonny, or Michael is able to avoid his family member’s deaths and make the family legitimate for good.
