Jo’s relationship with Three is wonderful and I love it so much. He is so obviously so very fond of her, and that fondness can help smooth over some of his more abrasive tendencies. And I love Jo’s bravery, kindness, and her dedication to the Doctor. The loyalty, trust and affection in their friendship is just so great.
I would be happy with something set early on when the Doctor’s still stuck on Earth, or even something later on where Jo and Three encounter trouble while on a trip in the TARDIS. Or maybe something after Jo’s marriage where she unexpectedly encounters the Doctor again and they get into trouble together just like old times. Feel free to include as many UNIT-era characters (the Brig, Benton & Yates, Delgado!Master) if you would like. I would love really any story featuring these two and whatever freeform(s) inspire you.

Seven and Ace- what’s not to love about them? It’s a complicated and weird relationship but there's also genuinely so much care, loyalty and trust there. I love how Ace has A Lot Of Issues and the Doctor kind of helps her but sometimes also ends up traumatizing her further? I would love a story that also explores some of the issues in their relationship- the trust issues, Seven’s manipulations, Ace’s past trauma. But a lighter story focused on their friendship would also be great as well. I would love really any story featuring these two and whatever freeform(s) inspire you.

This trio has such a great dynamic! I love the relationship between them and how the addition of Hex changes the Ace-Doctor dynamic. Hex starts out as a relatively normal person on the outside of Ace and the Doctor’s weirdness but is also inexorably drawn into it. I really like how Ace and Hex tease each other but also obviously care for each other a lot. And I love how much the Doctor cares for Ace and Hex, even if he isn’t always honest with them. For a Hex-focused fic, I would love to see an exploration of how he fits into the Ace-Doctor dynamic. Perhaps Hex feels on the outside of Ace and the Doctor’s already established relationship? But then he gets in trouble and Ace and the Doctor prove how much they care about him.
I am totally here for bad things happening to Ace, Hex and the Doctor. Maybe a mission gone wrong? Maybe the TARDIS team finds an ancient evil/eldritch being like Fenric or the Gods of Ragnarok, but the evil ends too great for them? I would also be very happy to see another encounter with our old friend Nobody No-One. Or maybe Seven’s manipulations backfire/lead them into a situation that’s too much for them to handle?

I would love to see more of Twelve & Bill & Missy together. Bill & Twelve are one of my favorite Doctor & companion pairs. And Missy’s possible redemption was one of the most interesting parts of Series 10 for me, so I would love to see more of Missy in this era. I love the ambiguity where she’s probably genuinely trying to be better- but her idea of being better is not necessarily the same as the Doctor’s idea of being better, and sometimes her past won’t let her move beyond her villainy even if she wants to.
I would love an AU where Missy travels in the TARDIS and gets to participate in more adventures beyond the trip where things all go wrong in “World Enough and Time.” I would also really like to see more interactions between her and Bill especially- what does Bill think of The Weird Evil Lady The Doctor Keeps Locked In The Basement and the Doctor’s efforts to help her find redemption? What would happen if they were stuck working together on a trip?
