These are all Doctor & companion relationships that I love and I would love to and I would love to see your take on a hurt!Doctor fic with these relationships. The Doctor is very good at acting confident and pretending that he’s invulnerable. I would love to see what would happen if he miscalculated and ended up in a bad situation. The Doctor accepting hurt to protect his companion(s) from it or getting hurt while trying to protect his companion would be great. I would also like to see the companion character a little surprised by the Doctor’s vulnerability and feeling guilty/very concerned because of it.

For Three specifically, perhaps something set while he’s stuck on Earth? A bad situation that he can’t just get in the TARDIS and fly away from would be really interesting. Perhaps the Doctor gets in trouble with some powerful and morally dubious people on Earth and ends up in a bad situation. Three is normally so self-assured, so seeing his status as an alien/the stability of his situation with UNIT being called into question would be really interesting. Of course Jo and the Brigadier would do everything they could to help him.

For Seven, he’s such a chessmaster that it would really be interesting to see him genuinely caught off guard and really hurt in a way he wasn’t expecting. I would love to see Mel/Ace being concerned not only for the Doctor’s wellbeing but also because she had never seen him that hurt and vulnerable would be great.

On Charley specifically - Charley is so optimistic and kind, so I would love to see what would happen if they got hurt in a way that she couldn’t immediately shrug off while with the Doctor, be it a physical or emotional hurt. Bonus points if the Doctor feels guilty/protective over his hurt companion and (if applicable) goes Oncoming Storm on whoever did the hurting.

On Seven & Ace & Hex - This trio has such a great dynamic! I love the relationship between them and how the addition of Hex changes the Ace-Doctor dynamic. Hex starts out as a relatively normal person on the outside of Ace and the Doctor’s weirdness but is also inexorably drawn into it. I love how Ace and Hex tease each other but also obviously care for each other a lot. And I love how much the Doctor cares for Ace and Hex, even if he isn’t always honest with them.I am totally here for bad things happening to Ace, Hex and the Doctor. Maybe a mission gone wrong? Maybe the TARDIS team finds an ancient evil/eldritch being like Fenric or the Gods of Ragnarok, but the evil ends too great for them? I would also be very happy to see another encounter with our old friend Nobody No-One. Or maybe Seven’s manipulations backfire/lead them into a situation that’s too much for them to handle?

On Hex specifically, I would love to see an exploration of how he fits into the Ace-Doctor dynamic. Perhaps Hex feels on the outside of Ace and the Doctor’s already established relationship? But then he gets in trouble and Ace and the Doctor prove how much they care about him.

I would love to see your take on a hurt!Doctor fic. The Doctor is very good at acting confident and pretending that he’s invulnerable. I would love to see what would happen if he miscalculated and ended up in a bad situation. The Doctor accepting hurt to protect his companion(s) from it or getting hurt while trying to protect his companion would be great. I would also like to see the companion character a little surprised by the Doctor’s vulnerability and feeling guilty/very concerned because of it.

On Eight and Charley - I really love these two! I love how Eight can be anything from sweet and energetic to more dark and moody. And Charley - I love her kindness and her positivity. I also love how much she enjoys adventuring and her and how her and the Doctor's bond remains unbreakable despite everything they go through in canon. I just love Charley’s relationship with her Doctor so much. I would love to see some bad things happen to him and Charley’s reaction to that. Eight especially just suffers so prettily. Perhaps the Doctor tries to remain strong but ultimately can’t, while Charley is worried sick and trying to do her best to help, perhaps shaken by how quickly their usual air of confidence/invulnerability has been shattered.

I would love to see some Eighth Doctor whump. <3 What can I say, he suffers very prettily. Maybe the events of the film go even worse for him than they do in canon? Maybe Grace has to help the Doctor through another medical emergency (with hopefully some more successful results now that she knows that he’s not human). Maybe Grace decides to go with him at the end of the movie and they end up getting into trouble on their adventures? Or maybe the Doctor finds himself back in San Francisco and ends up in trouble and encountering Grace again. I love this movie and I would love any H/C featuring this Doctor and Grace!
