I love Seven and Ace! They have a complicated relationship but there's also so much genuine care, loyalty and trust there. I love how Ace has A Lot Of Issues and the Doctor kind of helps her but sometimes also ends up traumatizing her further? I would love a story that also explores some of the issues in their relationship- the trust issues, Seven’s manipulations, Ace’s past trauma. Or something angsty with a lot of hurt/comfort. But a lighter story focused on their friendship would be great as well. I would love really any story featuring these two and whatever AUs inspire you.
- For the dimensional travel freeforms - Perhaps a return to the Infernoverse or a similar bad end AU? The Doctor and companion travel to a mirrorverse and meet their evil self/selves? (A Master and Doctor swap AU would be a very interesting AU for our main universe TARDIS team to travel into!) Please go with what interests you and don't be afraid to go in unexpected/weird directions!
- For the Eldritch/non-humanoid Time Lords tags - Feel free to write something about the Dr Nyarlathotep headcanon if you are familiar with that. I also love to see AUs where Time Lords are secretly a lot more alien that they are portrayed as on the show, so feel free to go into weird directions with this.
- For the vampire!Doctor/Time Lords tags - feel free to use as much or as little obscure Doctor Who vampire lore as you’d like. A more silly/cracky take on this tag would also be great! Also feel free to go with a more serious fantasy/dark fantasy/fairytale AU.
- For the Fae-related tags - Please feel free to write fae!Doctor in a fantasy/dark fantasy/fairytale type AU. I love Fae!Time Lord AUs where the Doctor is an exile from the Fae Court who Just Cannot Stop getting involved in mortal affairs/helping humans out and who is still weird even by Fae standards. Predictably, this probably gets him into a lot of trouble. Feel free to lean into the mysterious/morally ambiguous/inhuman nature of the Fae as well. Though I would equally love a lighter Local Fae Tries To Make New Human Friend type of story as well.

Clark and Lex’s friendship is one of my favorite parts of the early seasons of Smallville, and I would love to see an AU where that continued or where they eventually reconcile for one reason or another. I would also love a fic exploring their friendship during the early seasons.
- Clark and/or Lex find themselves in their own future and are displeased by the way things have gone, especially in regards to their friendship. Or perhaps a future version of Clark and/or Lex find themselves in their past bodies and decide to use their future knowledge to try to fix what went wrong.
- For whatever reason, Lex finds out the truth about Clark’s powers and doesn’t magically forget it. Or Clark decides to tell Lex the truth. Either way, the world is much better for it.
- For the bodyswap tag- the Clark and Lionel bodyswap episode was a lot of fun. I would love to see an AU where Clark and Lex find themselves bodyswapped for some reason. That would certainly be a way for Lex to find out about Clark’s powers.
- I didn’t request them, but feel free to include the “SV: Jonathan Kent doesn't die” and/or the “SV: Martha doesn't lose the baby in S2” in your fic as well!
Tal-Rho & Clark Kent
- All: Alternate First Meeting

I loved Tal’s character development in Season 2 and how much he cares about Clark/Kal and how despite everything he genuinely wants to be a family with him. And it’s not one-sided either- Clark clearly cares deeply for Tal too and really wants to have a brother, despite everything that Tal has done. I would love to see an AU exploring their relationship more. And I’m always up for seeing more fun “Uncle Morgan” moments and bonding with the twins.
- An AU Tal and Clark meet earlier on, before Tal had done so much damage both to the world and to their relationship. What if they met earlier as children and Martha and Jonathan were able to take him in and help with his trauma and eventually even prove that not all humans are bad? What if Tal never escaped after his capture and Clark first met him as a mistreated prisoner? Or what if Tal confronted Clark about their heritage soon after Clark went public as Superman?
- For the time travel/time loop freeforms - Tal gets a second chance and finds himself in his younger body at some point before the events of Season 1. Can he forge a new relationship with his brother and avoid making the same mistakes a second time around?
- An AU Season 1 where Tal realizes that Clark = Superman = his brother Kal earlier on and has more substantial interactions with Clark and maybe Lois and the twins too. Maybe he reveals the truth earlier? Maybe it convinces him to stop his plans?
- An AU of Season 2 where Tal doesn’t leave for the Bizarro world and instead has to learn to face the consequences of what he did in this world. Repairing his relationship with Clark and his family, dealing with the government and trying to find a place for himself in the world.
Clark Kent & Conner Kent

I would love to see an exploration of Clark and Conner’s early relationship. I don’t blame Clark for not handling his early interactions with Conner in the best way- his genetic information was taken without his consent to create a child he did not ask for. But Conner was also a young kid learning how to even be a person, and he really could have used Clark’s support. Anyways, I would really love any AU exploring the complexity of their early relationship and how they eventually end up considering each other family. Also, feel free to include Lex in your story being anything from a total jerk to a somewhat okay co-parent.
- Clark and Conner’s first meeting happens differently. Whether it goes better or worse is up to you. Feel free to have Conner in an (initially) antagonistic role- he did start out as a brainwashed clone meant to be used as a weapon against Superman. Clark meeting a much younger and more outwardly vulnerable Conner is welcome as well.
- Clark actually listens to Bruce in early Season 1 (or someone else like Jonathan and Martha or Lois talk to him) and he forges a better relationship with Conner earlier on. Maybe he finds out about Conner’s other parentage and/or Lex’s super patches much earlier and is able to help?
